What is an active user?*

Active users can access Costlocker, log time, and be assigned to projects. If you deactivate a user, they lose access, but their data remains stored. You can reactivate them anytime, and you only pay for active users. Learn more in our documentation.

When I deactivate users mid-subscription, do I have to pay for them?

No. If you deactivate a user during a prepaid period, the unused time is converted into a credit, which automatically reduces your next invoice.

Can I switch from monthly to yearly billing?
